The objective is to ensure that only validated participants with verifiable credentials can access and transact within the Invuture ecosystem. This policy is foundational to our compliance-by-design approach, guaranteeing that every user is a known and vetted entity.
This policy covers all aspects of the investor verification lifecycle on the Invuture platform, including:
New Registrations: The initial onboarding and verification of new users.
Identity Updates: The process for users to update their identity information and credentials.
Permission Revocations: The procedure for revoking access or permissions for a user’s wallet, either for security or compliance reasons.
This policy applies to all users who wish to participate in tokenized offerings, trade on our secondary markets, or use our financial services.
Every investor must hold an active ONCHAINID with verifiable KYC credentials before being permitted to participate on the platform. This decentralized identity standard provides a single, portable identity that is verifiable on-chain. Our permissioned wallets use these verified identity claims to enforce transaction eligibility across different jurisdictions and asset classes. This robust framework ensures that the integrity of our investor pool is maintained and that we can meet our global regulatory obligations.
We leverage decentralized identity via ONCHAINID, which is based on the ERC-734/735 standards. This allows investors to have a self-sovereign identity that they control, while enabling Invuture to verify necessary claims without storing sensitive personal data centrally.
Trusted, authorized issuers such as our compliance partners—append verifiable KYC/AML claims (e.g., “Accredited Investor,” “U.S. Resident”) to an investor’s ONCHAINID. The platform automatically detects and flags expired or revoked claims, initiating a remediation process to ensure credentials remain current and valid.
Every token interaction, including transfers and redemptions, is validated against the verified identity claims on a user’s ONCHAINID and against the issuer’s specific policies for that asset. For example, a user attempting to buy a private equity token will have their ONCHAINID checked to confirm they have a valid “Accredited Investor” claim before the smart contract allows the transaction to proceed. This creates a powerful, automated system of access control.
While we verify identity claims, the user maintains control over their ONCHAINID and can choose what information to share. This decentralized approach protects user privacy while satisfying our need for regulatory compliance.
The operational aspects of identity verification are managed by a dedicated governance framework. Authorized identity issuers are responsible for creating and revoking verifiable claims. Registry managers and compliance administrators oversee the overall system, manage onboarding workflows, and handle permission revocations when necessary.
This policy will be reviewed on a biannual basis to ensure it remains effective. It will also be immediately revised in response to any changes in regulatory requirements related to digital identity, data privacy laws, or blockchain standards.
Any user with an unverified or expired ONCHAINID will be blocked from trading or participating in new offerings. A remediation workflow will be triggered, requiring the user to update their credentials before full platform functionality is restored. This proactive enforcement mechanism prevents non-compliant activity and protects the integrity of our ecosystem.
